Hi, I'm getting another car next week, and I'm selling my old Honda. It is a 1998 Accord LX.I am the second owner, and it has a total of 170k miles. I bought it from my father, who bought it new. It has been regularly serviced, every 3,000 miles. Timing belt was replaced a few years ago, and the car has always been well-cared for. It shows normal wear and tear. There is a small dent by the front left wheel. The color is dark green, but the undercoating peeled off a few years ago. I've been told that this is a common problem in Hondas from that era. Please note - there is a problem with the transmission. Sometimes when the car is stopped at a red light, it has trouble engaging into first gear. Once the car is moving, it shifts very smoothly into 2nd, 3rd and 4th gear. The transmission was completely rebuilt in 2012. The current problem began about a month ago. The car is drivable, but it needs a transmission repair, which is why the selling price is much lower than the KBB value.
