Selling one of the nicest "restored" 1974 Toyota FJ 40 you will ever see or find.  This FJ has under 5,000 proven driven reliable miles on the current restoration. Well over 40,000 invested in parts and labor in this FJ . I own two FJ at this time and my other FJ is in restoration and needs to be finished. Only selling to free up cash to finish my other project. Nice classic FJ40 only go up in value so keep it nice and you have a great investment. The Body is " laser straight " SEE PHOTOS!  I have owned and restored many classic FJ over the past 30 years and I would rank this FJ 40 at the top of the list for sure in over all build quality. This is a true California FJ and is also smog exempt in California due to age. This FJ has one of the nicest body's and paint work you will ever see on a classic FJ. The Paint is a very dark Black Cherry B/C Clear color that has been color sanded and buffed to a wet glass finish.= SEE PHOTOS. Over $8,000 invested in body paint work alone. The small amount of body armor was added after body and paint work was done. Only added to ax-cent the paint color and protect the body from door ding or scuffing paint getting in or out. It also gives it that nice FJ off road look with the full padded roll cage and power winch.  Body armor is " not hiding anything bad or ugly. Body metal is "very nice under armor plate" = SEE PHOTOS and VIDEO. Like I said no rust - no rot in metal.  This FJ will turn every head in town driving in it "or" just parked on the street. You just don't find classic FJ 40 that look this nice driven on the road way.  FJ motor was also updated to a V8 for more power and performance that all FJ owners want.  A nice running 350 ci small block Chevy motor fitted under the hood - motor has aluminum intake and 4bbl carb, mild gear drive and polished aluminum valve covers to dress out the motor bay area. Motor is backed with a nice shifting turbo 350 automatic transmission. Yes, it was built with and automatic transmission and fitted with a B@M floor shift box. This FJ is a joy to drive you can put in drive and go "OR" manual shift it if you want to play. SEE VIDEO !   All the 4 wheel drive parts also in like new working order. The front end and rear end's both fitted with Air lockers if going off road is your thing. It has a Warn 8,000 lb power winch - SEE VIDEO. Rear axle rap shock bars also fitted on rear end = No axle rap! Heavy duty springs and shocks - 4 inch suspension lift - Front end skid plate - Rear end skid plate - also transmission skid plate. New 39.5 tall and 13.5 wide IROK Super Swamper tires fitted under it = That's over 4 feet of tire rubber on the ground. The taller tires and auto trans makes it cruise nice in town or on the road way. Tires mounted on black powder coated 16 inch pro comp bead lock wheels = Over 2,500 in tires and wheels.  Full Roll Cage - New high back bucket seats that will recline and retract for extra leg room. Inside of FJ was also restored very nice. All inside floors finished in black water proof raptor armor.Very nice rust free floor pans in this FJ - no patch work solid floors = SEE PHOTOS. All lights - wipers - heater- horn - gauge package work correct .= SEE VIDEO. This FJ is not a project like most and is not rusted like most. It is turn key ready to drive and enjoy as it sits for sale today. It is reliable, runs great , drives nice with power steering and stops nice with power brakes.
