Listing this bike for my Dad. Reliable bike - my Dad chose to ride this bike on our last rode trip 750+ miles round trip from northern CA to Morro Bay, CA. We all had our "modern" Honda CBXs! 1972 BMW R 75/5. Matching frame and engine numbers, matching original carbs as well. Perfect bike for starting your German M/C collection, or addition to your existing collection ( German or otherwise ), OR just plain ride the bike and have a blast and have some fun. Smooth and quiet ride. It always draws attention. Bike is ridden regularly. Clean CA title and registration. Classic and collectable four star bike according to "Illustrated Buyer's * Guide BMW Motorcycle - 2nd edition". The R 75/5 was manufactured from 1969 thru 1973. The previous manufactured R75 was in 1944. No "tickler" twin Bing CV's 32 mm carbs with choke lever for easy electric start. Also has kick starter for those who like to "kick." Fairly new tires. Good overall condition. Extra Denfeld ( Made in Western Germany ) seat, Haynes Service & Repair Manual, single hard bag with both right and left bag brackets, and original Owner's Manual.
