I am selling a 1998 Mercedes 300 Turbo Diesel 4 door sedan that has low miles for its age. I have been told in "diesel terms" this car is just broken in with 212,100 miles. I am always amazed as to how well a Mercedes drives regardless of the miles on the odometer. This Mercedes was a one owner car and has a clean CarFax report indicating no accidents. The climate control works well as does the radio. All of the gauges work however the seat belt light (SRS) remains on after the seat belt is engaged. The interior and dash all look to be in good shape. I only have one key and owners manual. There is some rust around the rear wheel wells; rear doors and bottom of the door fender wells. If you want to preserve this car, this rust (appears to be surface) should be addressed sooner than later. The tires have a little less than 1/2 the tread remaining. The 300 TD is well known for its longevity and great gas mileage. I understand that you might be able to convert this car to bio-fuel to further reduce your operating costs. I am selling this car "as is, where is" with no expressed or implied warranty. The miles may vary since I am actively selling this car locally. Full payment must be made within 7 days in the form of certified bank check or cash. All certified checks must be verified by my bank prior to the vehicle and title going to the buyer. All shipping, taxes and titling expenses are the responsibility of the buyer.
