Vehicle Detail
1972 Ford Maverick originally from New Mexico repainted original color a few years ago but has not been driven since. No rust before repaint and no rust now. Car needs to be completed. It needs headliner (included) installed, then glass (included) installed, I have a dash cap as dash pad is bad. this is a bench seat car, seats in good shape and side and door panels need installed. 200 C.I.D. automatic. Some maintenance should be done before driven, brakes checked and new gas, oil change. Tires are brand new B.F. Goodrich on very nice slot mags. I have an extra 200 C.I.D. with automatic trans that I bought from someone doing a V8 conversion, this motor and trans has 29,000 miles on it. I have a Clifford header brand new, I have extra armrests as well. Rear bumper is new, front is straight but should be rechromed. This is a very nice straight car, I am preparing for retirement and need to sell some of my toys. I can get more pictures, these are what I had at hand. Car is stord in my back garage, does not sit out. Once car is paid for I am flexible on pick up no time limit, I know it can be hard to schedule a trip or a shipper. OK found a few interior pics on my phone, I'm at work, I will add some tomorrow also hopefully less jiggly. good seats are out of car now, post them too, the pieces I have that go between the parcel shelf and the rear side pieces are the metal ones so the tabs are solid, they'll need to be painted blue. I added an update earlier today to answer some questions and do not see it now so I'll ad this, the motor in the car runs fine, could use a tune up, I bought the spare motor and tranny from someone swapping in a V8, price was right. Car has air but I've never tried it. This is a solid body, no rust now or ever. To answer some questions: The motor in the car is fine, probably could use a tune up but fired right up yesterday when I added new gas to the tank and charged the battery, I just had the opportunity to buy an identical drivetrain from someone doing a swap so I did. The car has air conditioning which looks complete, I have never tried it so assume it needs at least a charge. the seats (bench front and rear) are out of the car (I have a temporary front seat from another Maverick in the car and the windshield and rear glass are stored on that seat, I will add interior pics tomorrow.
