Vehicle Detail
This is a neat 1966 Dodge Panel Wagon from North Carolina. There is no rust anywhere in the body. It has the front clip taken off but all parts are there and all trim as original. Come with a 1991 Dodge Dakota short bed chassis with 318 V8 and 3 speed automatic (the wheel base is the same as Panel Wagon and I have seen several of these conversions). The Dakota is a low mileage truck that I drove 300 miles home before I pulled off all the body. I kept all the electronics, computers, etc for the Dakota planning to use these under the panel wagon. The Panel Wagon has a later model Dodge 318 setting in it that I was told has very low miles. The plan was to place the Dakota chassis under the Panel Wagon. I am moving and have three other cars already done that I have to move so this one needs a new home. It is a great project and will be a super neat truck either restored or re-chassised. I looked for two years before I found this last year of production (these look the same from 1958-1966) (low production year also) Panel Wagon. There is a dent on the top of the cab above the windshield but of course there is no headliner so it will be easy to fix. I wish I had the time now to do this but I have taken a position as a College President and just do not. The truck is near Bowling Green OH just off I-75 and both the truck and Dakota chassis could be dollied or hauled as they both have good tires. The Panel has a neat set of old style mags and the Dakota has the factory alloys. I have a clear OH title. Call 937-536-6549 for questions. I have over $5,000 invested so my loss will be someone's gain.
