1966 Mustang incredible California Custom built Hot Rod Street Legal Road Racer Based on original rust free San Jose built A code 2+2 Fastback, 6500 miles on total build with 2500 on drive train Engine: Pro Built Speed-o-Motive 378 cu in Dart 302 over 525 hp on pump gas with forged crank and rods, AFR heads with roller rockers, and ultra rare Australian Parker Funnel Web intake topped with Demon 750 carb, 8 qt Milodon baffled road race oil pan; starts right up and idles fine. Custom side exit exhaust with headers and manga flow canisters. Idle sounds like four Harley Davidsons at a stop light; full throttle sounds like NASCAR. Transmission: TKO 600 with parallelogram shifter and fresh clutch Rear end: Fab 9 with Gold Stuff Diff Suspension: complete Total Control Suspension (TCS) system including multi link rocker rear Brakes: 4 wheel HD disc brakes with Wilwood/JFZ calipers and billet f/r master cylinders Shocks: QA-1 fully adjustable coil overs at all four corners Wheels: forged CCW Classics with BFG R-Force T/A Dot race radials Body: all original steel fenders with 67 Shelby rear clip with spoiler and sequential tail lights, R Code front apron, Maier Cowl induction hood finished in Wimbledon White with painted Hurst Gold stripes (Gold GT350H rocker stripe kit included), functional Shelby brake cooling scoops, paint condition: some pitting, chips along lower backlight from window removal, small (1") paint crack on top of front left fender Interior: Custom welded roll cage with swing out side bars; Corbeau racing buckets with 5 point Simpson harnesses, MOMO quick release wheel, Engine turned dash with full compliment of Autometer Classic gauges with Shelby dash pod, 3 zone fire suppression system Misc: Shelby Plexiglass quarter windows and vented backlight (date coded original glass included),Moon quick release fuel filler, fuel cell, braided steel fuel lines, Moon overflow, dual elec. cutoffs, many had crafted custom touches too numerous to list If you want to take the wife/girlfriend on a cross country tour or the opera, this is NOT your car.
