West Coast Classics are proud to present an absolutely exceptional example of this original southern California 1986 Mercedes-Benz 560SL roadster in the highly desirable and rare striking original factory 'Smoke Silver' (a beautiful shade of gray most often used on trophies) (Color Code 702) paint with a striking and luxurious 'Black Anthracite' color (Trim Code 271) leather interior, original German canvas factory black soft top, factory alloy wheels, factory matching hard top and only 77K original miles! Purchased and originally serviced by original southern California owner at 'South Bay AutoHaus Mercedes-Benz', the Mercedes-Benz dealership of Torrance, California on 4/18/1986 with original dealer stamped maintenance booklet and manuals available. In recent years the car was serviced at the renown 'L & M' Motors, Mercedes-Benz specialists of Los Angeles, California where the car had a recent full service at 60K miles with oil change, oil filter, new gaskets, additives, air filter, trans filter kit, spark plugs and replacing all belts; drain fuel tank, clean fuel tank and replace fuel filter, clean EGR system, A/C service and recharge, replace front and rear shock absorbers, 4 new Michelin tires, replace drive line disc, replace steering shock, wheel alignment and emissions test. (Total Cost $2,937.14). West Coast Classics purchased the car from its original owner and we sold it with 61K miles to only its second southern California owner in 2011. The second owner serviced the car at 'W.I. Simonson' the Mercedes-Benz dealership of Santa Monica, California where routine and all scheduled and necessary maintenance was performed to date. We recently purchased the car back from these second owners, who after some three years of ownership offered to sell the car back to us before their move back to Europe, an offer we quickly accepted! The car's factory options include: automatic transmission with torque converter, supplemental restraint system, power assisted steering, cruise control, electric window lifts, electrically heated rear window on hard top, fully independent suspension, power assisted four wheel disc brakes, anti-lock braking system, limited slip differential, leather upholstery, automatic antenna, Halogen fog lamps, automatic air conditioning with climate control and central locking. Please note that the car has an after market 'Alpine' CD player and sound system installed in 6/2010 at a cost of $1,735. Obviously always garaged with no accidents and with all original parts and paint and absolutely no rust whatsoever! The original factory 'Smoke Silver' color paint is in beautiful condition with a black pinstripe and the original 'Black' leather seats are in beautiful original condition for their age with only very signs of minor patina showing. The car has it's original 'German canvas' factory matching black soft top which is still in great condition and the car has it's original and also factory matching color hard top. The car drives exactly like such a well maintained and serviced Mercedes with only 77K original miles should and must be seen and driven to be truly appreciated! The engine is extremely strong with no noticeable oil leaks and the temperature always remains cool. All the options are working as they should including the A/C. The car has a recent California smog certificate and is turn key ready to drive away.
