Vehicle Detail

1969 FORD MUSTANG SPORTS ROOF (FASTBACK) Real fastback - not a coupe turned into a fastback. Originally the car came with a 302, but now has a 351 Cleveland Automatic Transmission. Ive owned the car for about 2 years now and just before I acquired the car, the previous owner had the motor rebuilt and the body and paint work done. The car has sat idle in my garage until recently. I had to complete some of the assembly, and have since bought and installed the majority of of what was missing and needed to make the car complete and drivable. All the costly and hard work has been completed with only a few minor things left to address; no radio, an exhaust rattle when in reverse and it has a bad headlight switch. It is a Factory A/C car, but will need compressor and condenser installed. The car has some new front end parts and basically all new brakes, but obviously someone would want to go over these areas in detail and likely have a front end alignment performed before any over the road excursions are planned. From what was told to me by the previous owner and looking over the car myself, I can tell you the car had it's original paint and had never had any paint or body work in the past until its current return to glory. The panels replaced and work performed are in line with the usual areas that are known to possibly need attention on these early Mustangs. Although this mustang has a lot of its original structure remaining as you will be able to see if you come see it. I can tell you that the floor pans and trunk floor were replaced along with the trunk drops. Also replaced was the floor rail on the drivers side under where your legs would be if sitting in the drivers seat. That section of rail is about 2 1/2 foot long and is listed in all the Mustang parts catalogs if you wish to look it up to get a better idea of the part i am referring to. I believe that's it structure-wise; the rest of the structure is original and did not need any work or replacing. Some of the new parts and pieces in and on this car are as follows. most of all the interior is new including the headliner and dash pad rug carpet Rear tray seats and so on. also the weather stripping on the trunk. doors. door jambs. roof rails. and window are all New. Also New is the Hood, The Deck lid, Rear Body panel, Rear valance, The exterior door handles, Both the front & Rear Bumpers are new. the Rear Spoiler along with the Hood Scoop and grill insert for the Scoop are all New as well. New Gas tank and new P.S. cylinder and lines. All the side markers lights and emblems/scripts are new along with the inner and outer door felts as well. The car has front disc brakes and both caliper assemblies are also new along with new front pads and rear shoes. The battery and battery tray are also new. The 17 inch Billet Wheels came with the car but were not installed and come to find out it needed both the front and rear spacer/adapter kits in order to be installed, so obviously the the spacer/adapter kit are all new. There are obviously a lot more new parts on the car but this is way too long already! So, if you are looking for a nice solid Classic Mustang Fastback, this may be the one! Message me if you have any questions. The winning bidder must secure a $1000.00 non refundable deposit within 48 hours of the end of the auction. No exceptions. I have a clear title in my name ready to sign over to the new owner once full payment is received. Please keep in mind that if you bid on this car you know what your bidding on because the car is being sold as is with no warranty and if you bid and win the bid you bought the car. you did NOT bid on a chance to come see the car and see if you like it or not. you didn't bid on a chance to come haggle over price. the final bid is the price. and you did NOT bid on a chance to see if your Wife will let you buy a car or not. So bottom line is that if you bid and were the winning bidder you just bought yourself a Mustang for the amount of the final bid. NO EXCEPTIONS On Apr-05-14 at 19:59:06 PDT, seller added the following information: **** Received numerous messages asking for Buy it now price or Bottom Dollar price...to be fair to all who are interested I will let the final bid determine the selling price, so your best bet is to bid what your willing to pay and see what happens from there. Good luck to all.****
