Hi, Sadly time to part with the Mustang. This is a 1991 Florida Highway Patrol car-that has the correct paint scheme. This car was number 13 of 179 purchased that year by FHP. It needs work and would be best suited for somebody who wishes to restore it. Engine is solid-does not burn oil. I had a Borg Warner T5 installed August 2009 with a 2.73 rear gear-car turns ~1500rpm at 60mph. Car needs some cosmetic help-as seen in the photos. Interior redone in 2007. I have a full size spare- 225/60/15- that is about 85-90% new. I have another spare-wheel is good, tire is not. The 4 tires on it now could use replacing. I have a few extra parts to throw in- a K& N air filter-new- 8 Bosch platinum spark plugs and a Mann oil filter. As part of the police package, the car has a front stabilizer bar that is so large you can not use the same oil filter you would for other 5.0 Mustangs from that era. Car has some surface rust as well. Hood needs to be repositioned. Car starts and runs well- yes it has high mileage- but is an excellent project car.
