1957 International, A-100, Custom, swept side box, pickup. This "A Series" half ton truck came with the ultra rare factory coral and silver paint scheme used by the manufacturers that were popular during this time period. This color scheme was used in their advertising throughout 1957. The advertisement was used in The Saturday Evening Post, but I have never seen an actual truck with the coral and silver paint. This truck is from the dessert southwest and was ordered with heater delete. The production numbers for the custom pickups are similar to the Golden Jubilee. Due to the overall rarity of these pickups, a Custom pickup model with the swept side box is just as rare as the Golden Jubilee. How many coral and silver trucks were produced were anyone's guess! The last restored 1957 Golden Jubilee to sell at Mecum Auction in 2009 brought $52,000! I understand the cost/time involved in restoring antique trucks, my reserve price will allow someone to adequately restore this vehicle without breaking the bank. Don't miss this chance. This vehicle will sell. It has the BD-240 engine that is complete, but does not run. This truck has been sitting outside for many years. It has a 3 speed transmission on the column, the body is in very good condition given it's age, with surface rust on the floors and rust through at lower cab corners. Bench seat upholstery is gone but the door panels are complete and original. This vehicle will have to be towed. This truck will be sold with BILL OF SALE.
