Thank you for your interest on my 1999 JEEP Grand Cherokee Laredo AWD. I'm the current owner and I have owned this JEEP since 2008 when the vehicle had 101k miles. This has been my everyday driver with majority of the driving being on high-way commute. Fresh Oil & Filter change on 3/22/2014, BRAND NEW RADIATOR, radiator hoses and NEW Clamps. I have accumulated lots of service receipts through the years of ownership and they will be included in the sale. This vehicle has been very reliable to me in the last 6 years, COMPLETE brake service and battery replaced about a 1 year ago. Very desirable '99-'04 generation. I just purchased an 04' this is the reason why I'm selling the '99. This Jeep starts right up, runs and drives, automatic transmission shifts smoothly, Jeep is equipped with the QUADRA-DRIVE ALL TIME 4X4, Roof Rack, Factory Tinted Glass, alloys, carpeted rear storage area w/ factory storage cover, Folding rear seats, a/c blows ice cold, heated/power/leather seats, sunroof w/ tilt option, leather wrapped steering w/ option controls, cruise control, radio/CD player, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, all work!! Exterior: This is a '99 so vehicle will have minor blemishes, dings, and thanks to my wife one nice dent on the rear tail gate, (see picture) No accidents! Factory Tinted glass looks nice.Paint is in good/descent conditions MISSING rear wiper ("BLADE"), all wiper motors function properly including rear wiper. Front wiper blades are rainX All exterior lighting function properly, brake lights, hazards, turn signals, high-beams and reverse lights all work fine. Front head lamp covers are fading. (very common) Never tried the after market remedies to clean them up, I'm sure they will clean up just fine. Nice Factory ALLOY WHEELS in great shape, minor scratches but over-all in excellent shape. Tires are ok, 50% treadI never used the roof rack so there's no dents or deep scratches on the roof. The shocks that keeps the hood and tailgate (trunk) open need to be replaced. (very common) The tailgate shocks normally hold-up, but when they don't I use an aluminum stick, works like a charm. Bumpers have some blemishes and scratches (this is a '99) Rear right-side Bumper has minor damage, wife backed up to a dumpster and caused a dent as well to the tailgate. Nothing major!! (see pics) Interior: The front leather seats show normal wear for its age. The rear leather seats are in good shape. Arm rest on drivers door panel has wear.one of the interior overhead reading lights does not work. The factory cigarette lighter does not work but you can plug-in a phone charger in the port it works fine. Has a center console with cup-holders Steering wheel options all work properly. Volume controls, cruise controls, radio seek/scan controls, etc. Interior gauges are working properly, fuel level, oil pressure, battery charge, except the temperature gauge, it works when it wants to, the temperature gauge sensor is acting up. The sensor is a $30 part, very inexpensive easy level Do-It-Yourself fix. Dash-board in good condition. Radio works, cd-player works. The interior wood accents are in good conditions. The steering wheel showed some wear when I bought the Jeep so I purchased a steering wheel cover for it 6 years ago, time for a new one. There is a nice selection of quality covers today on the market. Mechanical: Reliable in-line 6 cylinder Runs and drives. Starts right up. Battery is a year old Just serviced with fresh oil and filter change.New Oil Cap.New Radiator, Radiator Hoses and ClampsAll fluids checked and topped off. Transmission is good, all gears are working good and shifts are smooth. I have not given her an upper engine tune-up since I bought her, so she would benefit greatly from one for optimal power, better engine sound and for better fuel efficiency. It's not a must but I would recommend one. In 6 years the only mechanical failure was the auxiliary fan which was replaced a few years back, and now the temperature gauge sensor will need replacing. I think thats pretty good if you ask me.This Jeep has been VERY reliable.Everything else I had to replace is regular services- brakes,oil,filters,tires,battery. It's no wonder why the (4X4) Jeeps are very desirable and HOLD-VALUE. Vehicle starts right up, runs and drives, has the 4X4 QAUDRA-DRIVE, ice cold a/c when hot, heat and heated leather seats when cold, nice color combo and tons of perfectly working options!!
