Vehicle Detail
I have a CB750 Sandcast engine for sale. VIN CB750E-1001971. Low engine number and a very cool number as well!! Very rare to find these engines anywhere. Complete engine. I removed this engine myself from a running bike in February 2011. Actual mileage unknown. Engine ran smooth and quiet. Engine has been stored inside my garage since 2011. The whereabouts of the original frame are unknown (maybe somewhere in central California - I don't know) I included a lot of pictures. No damage ever to cases. No other damage, no cracks, no leaks, and no damage to engine mounting areas. One fin is cracked (right side, very top next to valve cover - see picture). Engine was painted black - I removed the black paint to reveal engine and casting numbers and to show sandcast finish. Please let me know if you have any questions. Engine is sold with a bill of sale only. No title. Shipping cost to be paid in addition to sales price by the Buyer. I will not crate. I can secure engine to a pallet, or deliver to a local motorcycle shop for crating. Sold AS IS. No warranties. Reasonable reserve. The rarity and value of Honda CB750 Sandcast bikes and parts continues to grow. For example, if you want one of Vic World's masterpieces, it will run you $42,750 USD. Please check my feedback and bid with confidence. Thanks for looking. On Mar-28-14 at 11:53:59 PDT, seller added the following information: 3/28/2014 Upon further inspection, there are two places on the engine where some damage has occurred. (1) review the picture showing countershaft sprocket - at 12 o'clock above the sprocket, there is some damage to the casing and threads for one of the bolt holes that holds the sprocket cover, and (2) on the very last picture, there is some damage to the lower motor mount where a small piece of casing is missing. I apologize for not noticing these earlier. Please contact me if you have questions or need additional photos. Additionally, I had previously stated that I will not crate this engine. Instead, I WILL offer to crate the engine on a pallet and prepare it for pickup. The arrangements and cost to transport the engine are the responsibility of the Buyer.
