I picked up this 1970 442 w-30 from an individual , he had done most of the body work himself . It does run and drive , but runs rough at times hard to start due to the carb needing to be rebuilt . It does have a 455 engine but is not the original . Automatic transmission not original . Body looks good from 40 feet away / As you get closer you can see the filler and areas that need extensive repair. It is pretty relevant that there is bondo and body filler under the primer , will need lots of work. Trunk lid not correct . Hood looks to be the original . TM code rear end , Posi traction , 3.42 gear ratio . Red inner fender wells that have been painted over by one of the previous owners , front disk brakes , ram air hood , spoiler wing , . This car will need a full restoration , a complete restoration . Special ordered paint , car is original Rallye red. Selling as is where is . Non-refundable deposit of $500 due within 24hrs by paypal , balance due within 3 days after auction end and by cash only or certified check . Certified check must clear before releasing the car . Please NOTE : I Do not have any documentation to verify that this is a True w-30 . No build sheet was found . All items on the car all adds up to being a true w30 , red inner fender wells , dual cut out rear bumper , ram air hood , front disk brakes, TM code rear end , vin verifies its a TRUE 442 built in Lansing Michigan , all these clues add up to being a true w30 .
