Vehicle Detail
This is an extremely rare Mercedes Benz. About 2,000 were imported to the United States for the years 1986 and 1987. The car came with a Getrag racing transmission, Cosworth 16v head, self-leveling suspension system in the rear (similar to Ferrari), stock body-kit (for improved aerodynamics), Recaro bucket seats, additional guages and bigger brakes than the standard 190E. This car is credited with beginning the duel between Mercedes and BMW as BMW hurried to release a similar car which became the M3 (both cars originally developed to establish a base for their racing endeavors). Condition: Mechanical & Electrical: 8/10 Cruise control and right rear passenger side window do not work. In great mechanical shape, runs, idles, drives great. New radiator, well maintained, clutch has less than 20k miles on it. Paint & Body: 7/10 A few tiny dings and one small scratch. Clearcoat is fading on several small sections of car. Upholstery: 7/10 Leather is worn on driver's seat, rest is in good shape, just a little stiff. Rear passenger seats need some minor seam repair at very top. Some vinyl pieces coming unglued. Features: All original except for stereo upgrades. History: 3rd owner, owned car since 2001. Properly maintained throughout. Shipping & Payment: Buyer pays and arranges any shipping required. Payment must be made within 5 business days.
