For sale is my 2003 SL500 It has just over 90,000 miles, 3 owners, and an original sticker price of $106,000. It has a clear title and is accident free. It has a Brilliant Silver Metallic exterior and a Charcoal and Black leather interior. Standard Equipment: heated seats, DVD based navigation, universal integrated garage door opener, automatic slip control (ASR), electronic stability program (ESP), 12 way power front bucket seats with 3 position memory and lumbar support, power windows with express down control and 1-touch up/down for all windows, 8 speaker Bose sound system Factory Options: SL2 AMG Sport Package -$5,100Front alloy wheels with 18 inch rim diam and 8.5 inch rim width, rear alloy wheels with 18 inch rim diam and 9.5 inch rim width; Front tires with 255mm tire width, 40% tire profile and W tire rating, rear tires with 285mm tire width, 35% tire profile and W tire rating; Body color front spoiler; Side body skirts Panoramic Roof Keyless Go - smart card/smart key automatic, includes central locking and ignition starter Parktronic - front and rear object sensors HID Self leveling lights So, it's pretty close to loaded (doesn't have SL3 package (massaging seats) or distronic) Interior ConditionThe interior is in very nice condition. I have had the leather conditioned every other month during my ownership. The driver seat is slightly wearing on the left side (see pictures). No tears or stains on carpet, floor mats in good condition. No tears or cracks on the dash. Non smoker car. For a 10 year old car, there is minimal wear on the inside, besides some minor wear on buttons. Exterior ConditionThe exterior is in excellent shape, save for a few imperfections:1. The front bumper/spoiler on the lower right is missing the fog light and the mesh grill. A couple weeks ago, I hit a little gopher at about 30 mph. The bumper does not need to be replaced; just some touch up paint. I will put a picture up shortly. I haven't had a chance to replace it yet2. Small chip on windshield. I've had this since I purchased the car in February of 2013. It hasn't spread in that time and I haven't felt the need to replace it.3. Small scratches under gas cap and chip of paint near drivers door.4. Scratches on right rear bumper. RepairsI purchased the car in February, 2013. Since then, I've spent over $10,000 on repairs. Most of this came from the replacement of the hydraulic lock top cylinder for the hardtop, a new A/C condenser, new control and shift modules, and a new Strutmasters suspension system. With a sticker price of $106,000, repairs aren't free. For major repairs I've used Critz in Savannah and for smaller things I use an independent mechanic who specializes in Mercedes and BMW down near where I live on St. Simons. In the fall it needed a new ABC pump, and I was going to sell it, but I decided to put a Strutmasters kit on, which replaced the hydraulic suspension system. I still have all the hydraulic struts as well. You could convert back to the ABC system; just need a new pump, though now the car has a newsuspension system. I'm planning on selling the struts separately but can include them. The car sits nicely and rides very well. It has been well maintained during my ownership as well. Anytime an issue arose, I brought it in. I've spent over $10,000 in repairs. Once the front right lower grill & fog light is replaced are done, the new owner will have a vehicle in perfect condition. I have copies of all the repairs I've had done in PDF format and will be happy to forward them. The price reflects my desire to quickly sell this car. I believe it's worth somewhere around $17,500-$19,000. It's a no reserve auction.
