Vehicle Detail

Thanks for looking at this great car. First of all, I have a small car collection that is at a facility that has open houses where 1000's of people come out for car shows. Of ANY car I have ever had, this one gets the most looks. I've had a $130k Audi R8 parked next to the Yenko, and people walk right by the R8 to go look at this build. It is loved. My son will kill me for selling this car, but I need to make some room. I bought this from the guy who built it. It's a really cool car and ready to drive across the country. It easily turns out 75mph on the highway with little effort from the 427 - 5 speed. The front seats have separation on a couple of the seams. I did not recover because I felt it was better to keep them original. Solid underneath, no rust to speak of. This car was also featured on the website: "Bring a Trailer" http://bringatrailer.com/2011/07/21/beast-wagon-yenko-style-1969-chevy-greenbrier/ THIS IS WHAT THE BUILDER WROTE WHEN HE SOLD THE CAR TO ME::::: 1969 Yenko Chevelle WagonIf Don Yenko had built one this would have been it. 427, 5 Speed, 88,000 Actual miles Originally 307, Powerglide Remanufactured 427 installed at 80,435 miles New Tremec TKO600, 3:07 12 bolt (70mph @ 1750rpm) 4 core aluminum radiator Power steering, Power front disc brakes Cruise control, AM/FM stereo w/MP3 input Vintage Thermo King under dash A/C with R134a Sanden compressor Original interior (except carpet) Towing equipment includes: Air Lift air bags, Air shocks, Electric brake controller and Receiver Hitch Included with the car is the original window sticker, owners manual, and title. This car would be great for the Hot Rod Power Tour! I built this car to tow Donna Mae Mims' 1963 SCCA National Champion winning "Think Pink" Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite race car and a Yenko Stinger Corvair race car. Donna Mae Mims was the High Performance Manager of Yenko Chevrolet in the day. While reuniting Donna Mae with her old Sprite at Mid Ohio Sports Car Course during the SVRA Vintage Grand Prix in 2008, she put seal of approval on the wagon by signing the glove box door. On Mar-31-14 at 08:49:41 PDT, seller added the following information: The car has cleared it's reserve - every bid now is a winning bid!
