Call Al at 205-253-6033 1977 Triumph Bonneville 750 T140V... VIN GP73212...speedometer shows 13,404 miles but would not be correct, original owner changed it out due to mechanical failure and did not record the results...speedo was purchased used and had more miles than bike but I cant document those facts...but to tell the truth I bought the story when I picked it up a couple years back... A true survivor with the classic good looks of a war era Hurricane this thoroughbred was recently serviced (6/1/13) completely by Johh Skinner at Skinners Triumph...service included rebuilding carbs, a new throttle cable, adjusting anything and everything as needed and new brakes at a cost of about $430...It currently runs and rides better than ever... Overall the condition is of vintage completeness, far from a showpiece, but far from a road dog and ready YEP I said READY to ride...Being that said she is not free from the typical Brit bike oil leak showing only a regasketing due to age may or may not be needed... compression on both cylinders is excellent and even at over 100psi... Tagged in the Great State of Alabama as a historic motor vehicle...Title is of the clear -n- clean ready to be signed over to you for your low winning bid.. This ready to romp or perfect candidate for restore also comes with drop bars and and cafe' style tail and seat if your intentions are to put on the vintage race circuit, kinda my original intentions but I've enjoyed it as it is and its time to move to something else... This classic later model "Bonny" 750 T140V 46cu.in. 49 hp. Vertical Twin boasts a super smooth and responsive power range, superior shifting 5 speed trans. and a top end speed of 110 mph as tested and weighs in at just 414 lbs....An impressive power to weight ratio I assure with sure fired stopping power due to its oversized for everyday riding stock disc brakes... Classic Good looking vintage Brit looks with arguably the best performance most responsive in both power and stopping I'm sure you'll find this to be a fine running machine for many years to come...Any and all questions concerns or changes to the terms Please Call Al at 205-253-6033 I'll be happy to address and entertain Ya'all
