1960 vw PATINA PANEL (Thomson painting original logo bus ) and is a daily driver!! lowered correctly. Uncut dash, and I just put a passenger mirror that took an hour to do, pulled the old broken pin out that has probely been in the bus all its life , all the lights work turn signals, head lights, etc 1600 single port,w/new fuel pump and new carb, fresh freeway flyer tranny with a straight axel conversion kit installed ($2,000), up front is an adjustable 4 inch narrowed beam / , JER -FAB made from the stock front end ($4000 installed total) , new Air Kewld 'bad series brakes' , disc brake front end ($2500 parts only), 4 piston williewood calipers w/stainless steal lines and new dual master cylinder , new tie rods and bearings and king pin bushing, I installed a dual master cylinder so if your back brakes go out you have front brakes,or if your front brakes go out you have back brakes ,that's what a dual master cylinder is good for. new rear drums W/ wheel cylinders and pads and springs, and rear bearings, newer silver KYB shocks, steering box is rebuilt , It has around $6000 in suspension , And comes with roof rack and BRM rims n tires , All the vw glass in the bus is all original, rain gutter is solid all the way around , this bus does 75mph no problem and handles like a Porsche. $13,000obo, or make me an offer I cant refuse, 714-679-5242 greg has rust and needs a few repairs but the rust has been cut out. dosnt effect the driving of the bus,On Mar-21-14 at 08:35:06 PDT, seller added the following information: to all bidders I am explaining what has been done to the suspension on this VW 1960 patina panel It's the original front suspension tookin out made into a 4 -inch adjustable narrowed front beam with willywood disc brakes By Jer -Fab that builds front ends and rebuilds transmissions, $2500 just for the disc brake set up ,put on to the beam To make the beam is $1,000 bucks an dual master cylinder $300 so if yr rear brakes fail for some odd reason the front brakes work ,visa versa so if the front brakes fail you have back brakes that's what a dual master cylinder is good for.That's $3800 just for the beam and master cylinder not installed !The more I think about it the more I want 13k ,I have a lot of time in maken this bus a good driving and running bus ,you will never have to work on the suspention again.The rear tranny has been rebuilt and straight axel kit installed Tranny rebuilt $800 and spring plates and rear new drums ,bearings ,brake pads ,$750$1550 total not installed,so I have around 7k invested in just the suspension and she's a daily driver .I would trust this bus to drive anywhere!!!!!!and I have the right to sell this bus before the auction ends , and thanks for bidding,On Mar-21-14 at 17:04:55 PDT, seller added the following information: If you would like to se the motor text me your number and ill send you a picture or any picture you need ,it wont let me add any more pictures,because people are all ready bidding on the bus, and the auction has already started and I put the 24 and it wont let me add anymore.good luck on bidding
