1957 Chevrolet Nomad Resto-Mod This Beautiful Chevy Nomad was professionally built by one of Southern California’s best know Hot Rod shops, Advanced Performance. Custom sheet metal work throughout the car, including a custom STEEL tilting hood assembly. The unique tilting hood is all steel and it is fabricated from original 57 Chevy hoods and fenders. It rotates electronically while maintaining the original Nomad fender trim.Nomad is powered by a blueprinted and balanced ZZ4 350 cubic inch small block Chevy with a Vortec Supercharger putting out approximately 505 horsepower.Engine has extensive chrome and billet aluminum including a chromed fuel injection system. Door handles are shaved with wireless remote openers and door poppers for security. Hidden safety switch for opening the doors.Paint is DuPont’s Viper Red with light blue ghost flames on the hood and front fenders.The Nomad has a custom mural, Nomad Country” hand painted on the underside of the hood. Dual twelve volt batteries in custom aluminum battery boxes, fabricated into the cowl.Aluminum radiator with a custom fabricated polished aluminum shroud.Front bucket seats with power, driver’s side controls. Seat belts front and rear seating.Steering wheel is a billet aluminum and leather wheel from Billet Specialties.Heat and Air Conditioning, by Vintage Air. Climate control is also provided to the rear seating area.Dash instrumentation, gauges and clock are assembled into the original dash sheet metal configuration. All gauges are supplied by Dakota Digital including a digital clock.Features a multi-speed wiper control for that current new car feelOutstanding audio sound is provided by an Alpine stereo and CD system with a multi-disk remote player. Surround system has by Power Amplifiers and includes a large sub-woofer.Steering Column is chrome with tilting feature.Electronic rear view mirror with built-in directional compass.Interior features center and overhead consoles. Center console has a storage compartment with drink holders, as well as a hidden security compartment for a “45”.Overhead console features map lights, tissue holder, sunglass holder and garage door opener.Billet aluminum gas and brake pedals as well as emergency brake assembly. Exhaust system is ceramic coated with custom headers.MSD ignition system and spark plug wires. Transmission is a Chevy 700R and the Rear end is a 9 inch Ford.Disk brakes on all four wheels with chrome dual diaphragm Master Brake.Front Suspension has special handling tubular upper and lower A-Arms with power steering.Wheels are 2012 Daggers of billet aluminum by Billet Specialists.Winner of many cars shows and awards and a excellent driver.
