The R1100RS is one versatile machine. From two-up touring to leaning hard into tight corners at speed, this bike does it all. It's quick, nimble, and very reliable. I've taken good care of her and now it's your turn. Try as I might, I just can't seem to justify owning three bikes when I don't have the time to ride them as much as I'd like. Let's start with the cons: a few scratches on the cylinder head guards from previous owner (no self respecting rider ever admits to dropping the bike in a parking lot) but, we all know it happens. And, the throttle side hand warmer isn't warming. As the weather is getting warmer every passing day, this problem becomes less & less of a problem exponentially. The pros: newer tires (2K on them) new battery, headlight bulb, air filter, fluids last summer, new Cee Bailey tall windshield, Cee Bailey headlight guard. It has a GIVI large trunk that I installed LED lights in for turn, stop & run function. They are BRIGHT. I also installed a set of passive deer alert whistles and an active Hornet deer alert whistle that works great. Here in NJ there are about 5 deer to every human so these devices are a necessity. The ABS works really well and I also installed a Cree LED spot beam for added visibility. It didn't come with the hard side cases so I put softside cases on that hold alot of whatever you need to carry. No rips on the seat, the color is in my opinion the best they offer and did I mention that she runs great? With only a bit over 25K miles on her she's just broken in!
