This was the best of '86... This Toyota Cressida Luxury Sedan has Styling and Performance. I still enjoy driving it. This car is 28 years old with original paint; it's in good shape.(some small spots on hood and trunk.) It has some imperfections (parking lot ding in the chrome trim on right front door) The air deflector on lower front bumper has been pushed back about 1 1/2; you must get down to see it. The light that's in that deflector has a chip broken on one corner. Rust...minor around window molding on back window and the edge of the sun roof; you need to look close to see them. If you open the right rear door, you can see the only rust spot (see photo). No other rust on this car. The only thing not working is the theft deterrent system. The security light in the dash will stay on all the time. I had to disconnect it for the starter system to work. There is some oil seepage from around the left valve cover. The rubber boot covering power steering cylinder on the right side needs to be replaced. History: The Auto Check Vehicle History Reports, gave this car (VIN # JT2MX73E9G007605) a Score of 53. Similar vehicles scored 14-35. I bought this car in 2008 from a private owner in Silver Spring, Maryland. Looking at this report, it looks like I am the third owner. I was told the car was garage-kept. To pass the Maryland Motor Vehicle Inspection: I had to replace the "Disc, rebuild the Caliper and install new (OEM) Pads on all four wheels" Install four new "Toyo Proxes 205/60/15 Tires and some other small stuff....Adjust headlights, new (OEM) wiper blades, etc. Work not required: Check all fluids, including: A Transmission Flush, Oil Change and Filter (Mobil 1 Oil) Lubricate suspension as needed. Normal fluid changes every 5000 miles. Some other work that was done when needed: R&R A/C compressor, install retro kit to change freon to R134A, R&R fuel filter, R&R exhaust from converter back, R&R rear shock absorbers, R&R Ignition coil, Spark plugs, plug wires distributor cap & rotter, Rebuild front struts, R&R lower ball joints and enter ball joints, R&R lower control arm rubber bushings. Last but not least, we did a 4-wheel alignment. Installed new battery with positive (+) cable on 11/13/2013. Accessories: In addition to Toyota's top of the line features, this car has been equipped with a 2000 lb 2" ball, towing package with H/D turn signals, also comes with a Budge # 4 car cover.... I have the Original 1986 Owner's Manual also the large color Brochure from Toyota listing all Features and Specifications for the 1986 Cressida (too many to list here). I retired and moved to Talcott, West Virgina in 2011 and brought the car here and parked it in the shed with a car cover over it. Legal Stuff: Vehicle is sold as-is, where-is.
