Mechanically sound and incredibly fun. This car received a lot of TLC over the last four years. Located in Enterprise, OR. Purchased in Joseph, OR spring of 2010 with 98,000 miles. This sporty little car has been an absolutely marvelous daily driver/ project car. This model is an Automatic with 101,000 miles on it. Over the last four years it received a full engine tune-up, new windshield and side mirror. Parts are genuine NOS BMW including an exhaust manifold gasket and cylinder head seal (after machining the exhaust manifold), front brake calipers, steering linkages including tie rods and drag link, ignition switch, wheel bearings with new inner and outer seals. KYB shocks, 15X7 Enkei Classic J-Speed SML Wheels and 195/55R-15 Kumho Ecsta Tires, K&N Air Filter, and a rebuilt original speedometer (MPH) by Bob's Speedometer in Howell, MI. NOS shifting cover. I have retained all receipts. Complete fuel log over last four years including a high of 40 mpg and an average of 25 mpg. Overall, this car provides strong acceleration, tight handling and clean shifting. It runs smoothly and just brings a smile to your face rolling down the road. My future plans for the car included body work for some of the bubbling cancer and two holes behind the headlights. I also wanted to find the European-style bumpers and get the upholstery done. Otherwise, the car is mechanically sound. Includes newly installed studded tires mounted to original wheels. Also has new Kenwood stereo with four speakers installed last spring.
