For sale is a rare and original 1980 Honda CR250R two stroke dirt bike. This bike has only had two owners since new with the last owning for over 25 years. This bike is nearly all original including tank, decals, plastic, etc with the only major updates to the bike a bore and re-sleeve top end rebuild a few years back along with a set of progressive rear shocks to replace the originals. The bike runs really good, has great compression and the front and rear shocks still have good action. The would be a great, ready to race AHRMA or vintage MX bike. It still has the Fox number plate backgrounds from the 80s, OURY grips and the clutch was replaced in 2001 but not ridden much since. The pipe is in great condition with no dents, the plastic is only slightly faded with a couple of light spots but no cracks and the seat has pulled apart in the rear just below the Honda imprint (see pics). The sale also includes the original owners manual and all receipts for work done on the bike in the last 20 years. This bike has its nics and scratches, but is a really solid, tight and pristine survivor considering its age. You will be the envy of the local vintage class on this original machine. As with most 34 year old bikes, there is no title, but i am happy to provide a Missouri Dept of Revenue bill of sale along with an affidavit from my local police department indicating the VIN has been run, is clear and clean.
