Up for auction is a 1971 Volkswagen bug project . This VW needs lots of work however there in just a little rust through rear passenger floor and a little hole by the battery and the rear storage compartment has some rust out as well see photos there is also a small hole in the passenger door drain area . Driver side window regulator is broken and crank handles are missing the seat bottom in the rear is missing all the glass is intact The headliner has some sagging and some tears all seats upholstery needs replaced . The jack ports are good as well as most of the floor pan overall pretty solid. The engine runs great and the transmission shifts well. Was told that the engine has had a new crank shaft installed the motor does not smoke or make any unusual noises when started The bugs brakes need servicing here is a list of some of the missing parts as follows: factory steering wheel, one visor, shift knob, front door panels, glove box lock, ignition switch needs to be replaced there are no keys for this Bug. There are dents in the fenders the front and rear hoods have some dents as well as the roof. The front end has not been clipped. Mismatched tires and wheels no hub caps.The prior owner lost the title but I have a BILL of SALE and have all the paper work to obtain your clear title The bug has not been on the road since 2004. the odometer reads 48119 miles and is located at a commercial address and will need to be transported with a trailer I JUST INSTALLED A BOSCH BLUE COIL NEW POINTS & CONDENSER NEW PLUG WIRES. THE CARB WILL NEED A REBUILD KIT, NOTICED A LITTLE GAS ON THE ACCELERATOR PUMP HOUSING THATS WHY IT NEEDS A SHOT OF STARTING FLUID TO GET STARTED.
