If you have to ask your better half to pay for this car, than stop right now & do just that before bidding, like the last Idiot did & did not have the cash to pay! Hence I am re listing this car. Third Triumph TR 6 for sale out of my collection. This is the last out of 3. The car has genuine 42135 miles from new. This car runs almost as good as it did the day it left the factory. Having made that statement please keep in minde, it is 43 years young & there is always room to improve on the very best of them. In early 2013 it was brought out of storage ( 20 years, see inspection sticker on windshield) & the following things were done to make it 99% road worthy, safe & reliable to be driven any distance. Eletronic Ignition installed, New Distributor Cap, wires, rotar, Spark Plugs, Fuel Filter, Air Filter including Oil & Filter changed. Gas tank cleaned & coated. Valves were adjusted & valve cover gasket replaced. Both the Carburetta re-built with new gaskets & seals. All Hoses & Belts replaced. Water & Fuel Pump replaced. Front & Rear Brakes including master cylender compleately Re-Built with all new components. Brand New Alternator & Battery. All engine & Trans mount replaced. Suspension re-built. New Interior & Wood Dash. 4 New tires with less than 200 miles on them.( 5th new tire in trunk but not mounted as I have no idea where the wheel took off) New Exhaust. Last but not least a fresh Base / Clear Paint on a 100% rust free, accident free car. All rubber seals replaced. Please note that the engine & Transmission did not need any attention. It runs & drives like a soweing machine. This car is an attention getter at any gathering because of its color & stripe combination. There are 2 other TR6's out there with this design but differint color combo & both belonged to me. Since I am reducing my collection of cars & do not see another TR6 to restore in the future, I will include a big plastic storage containor 3' x 18" x 15" full of hard to find new & used parts if the price is right. This in itself is worth more than a grand. I also have the rear suspension conversion to tube shock kit & convertable top seals new in seperate boxes. There is just way too many items to list that I collected over the last 20 + years. As with all the cars I have listed or sold in the past on Ebay, this too has no reserve price. It is also for sale locally & will be taken off Ebay for the right offer received locally. Wait & take a chance on missing out, or be first to make a knoledgeable offer & own the best of the best!! I love it when prospective buyers or people watching it on Ebay, hopeing to bid at the last moment to steal the car, call after the car is sold & tell me how they regret not bidding what they could afford at the time. I have heard that line a million times & it still amuses me! A note to the people who called after the other 2 sold, if any of you happen to see this & you are still in the market for a TR6, dont bother to call after the sale, as this is the last one I have. You also know what the other 2 sold for, so here is that last chance & let me assure you that this car is by far the best out of the three, that is why I kept it longest.
