I plan on taking more tomorrow 1/9/14 or 1/10/14 when the temp is higher and the sun is "supposed" to be out. **THIS CAR IS 26 YEARS OLD PLEASE TAKE THAT INTO CONSIDERATION***(if you know these cars you know what to look for) This car does have some minor wear such as small random dings, no more then several. Some paint peeling on the hood, Front Bumper Black Trim is cracked on left side. Look at pictures for details. Leather interior is warn, more in the drivers seat and rear seat bottom. The front seats do move manually back and forth and fold forward for rear entry just perfect. Rear back seat rest has been replaced with BRAND NEW vinyl. Looks great. For $750 extra after auction ends I can replace the entire interior with brand new Indigo Navy Vinyl. That would include 2 front seats and rear bottom seat. All gauges work (odometer is iffy. Trip miles has never worked and is on zero.) Dash lights work. But Carfax and autocheck have the mileage right on with what it is today @ 139K. 12/12 had a reading of 126K. Today it shows 139K and the car does get driven in the summer and or dry days ONLY everyday possible. It was out the last couple days to be ready for this auction. In the garage safe and sound now ready for its new owner. **AGAIN PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS OR REQUEST PICTURES IF NEEDED**. THIS CAR IS AWESOME!!! 1988 BMW 325iC (or iA) Convertible.Rare color option with Indigo blue, blue interior and blue manual raggg top.I have original window sticker and option tag from 1988. This car was $35,000 back then!! As far as my research has gone this car came FULLY LOADED back in the day.It has all possible options BMW offered in 1988 for this Convertible model. In October 2013 services on the car were performed. Such as:Oil Change & filter, master air flow sensor, air cleaner, air box, gas lines and tank were cleared out of throttle body & checked, new vacuum lines, air filter, spark plugs and fuel pressure regulator. In January 2014 over the past few days, this awesome ride had the throttle body water housing gasket replaced. Car runs perfect, no leaks, no spills, no drips, no overheating, nothing nada. I just drove it 50 miles the other day on the highway to the suburbs and back. Rode beautiful. If only it were 80 and sunny and not -16 here in Chicago, I would have had the top down. Tires are ok. Maybe 50% tread life. Brakes are GREAT. All lights, brights, turn signals, hazards work. The right turn signal on the dash is out, but the light still works. The flashing "Check" light does come on and off randomly, but after a computer reading this week there really is nothing wrong with this car. Convertible top is manual and easy to go up and down, it has no leaks or tears, looks great. No cracks on the dash board or hard convertible rear cover. Door panels are in excellent shape. Some ware on the radio buttons but are all in tact. The window buttons all work just sometimes you need to hold down the buttons a little harder the normal, especially when its cold. On warm days they are no problem. Heat works excellent! AC blows but its not too cold. If I missed anything just ask. This is a great car, I've had a few over the years and they are just plain fun. No reason for the sale, just have 2 of these now and would like to keep passing them on to enjoy the next one.
