Vehicle Detail
For Sale: My "I'll finish it some day" retirement car. I bought this car from the original owner back in 1989. For close to 20 years it has been resting in my garage. Some items that have been done are: rebuilt original engine, Clutch/pressure plate, rear axles and bearings, floors, quarter panels, gas tank, battery, brakes, paint and more. Wife says "NO More"! Car runs and drives but never left the driveway. So please don't plan on driving home in it. All numbers match right down to the factory rally 2 wheels (new tires). Still to do is the inside. The seats have been reupholstered in the original material, but needs carpet, headliner, door panels and dash. Also needs spoiler welting. I have weather stripping but not installed. Car needs to be finished out. Many extra parts acquired over the years go with car.On Jan-04-14 at 16:27:57 PST, seller added the following information: 1/4 Update: I added the interior pieces as well as all the extra parts. In brief, there are 2 sets window trim, 2 sets A/C ducts, 3 sets door hinges, 2 sets rear panels, multiple Décor package chrome pieces, 1 factory shift knob. Extra hard parts i.e. pulleys, manifolds, radio plate, wiper arms, 2nd set of Tail lights, etc NOS: body mounts, Bolts, Bell Housing shield, Door Jamb Vents, A/c vent, Door escutcheons, shift boot, clutch boot, shift boot ring, door sill plates, etc. Door panels in usable shape, but very dirty from 17 years storage. Rear seats are excellent as well as the front. Also, the car has a Ken wood old style radio AM/FM cassette. Dash was not altered for radio, but top of dash is trashed. Over the years I would search for NOS or very good original parts. Look closely to the parts, most are doubles. Will update again with pictures from the underside shortly.
