Up for auction is a 1965 Cadillac Coupe de Ville. This vehicle was bought out of a collection of Cadillac's and other large GM vehicles from the 60's. As shown in the pics this car was stored in a barn for many years. The owner was an excentric older gentleman that collected these cars for many years when he was a used dealer. Many of these cars including this one was purchased by this gentleman, drove to his location and parked in a barn. This particular vehicle was parked for nearly 32 years. It sat in the dark and never saw the light of day or almost 32 years. We transported the vehicle, and gave it a bath, What you see is the condition of the car today. It is 100% complete. It has all its original body panels and appears to never have been wrecked. There is no rust through areas, although there are a couple of spots where the paint was chipped off from a door ding or rock chip where the vehicle has surface rust. We installed a new battery, checked all fluids, poured a little fuel in her and she came to life. The engine runs smooth with no noise. It moves under its own power. The chrome and stainless trim are in outstanding condition. This would make a very easy restoration or a great project for anything you could imagine.
