PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE BIDDING I am selling my 1998 Civic. This car is a DX coupe automatic, but has a moonroof, Honda 6-disc CD changer, and Civic EX wheels. The car is in good running condition, with 215,000 miles. I have an extensive stack of maintenance receipts including newer ready mount shocks and a recent tune up. I put a lot of miles on this car for work, and would keep it longer, but I now have a company car. It has a valid RI state inspection good until 1/31/2014. The car is being sold AS IS with NO RESERVE. In the interest of presenting the vehicle honestly, please note the following minor flaws with the vehicle: * The car is in average cosmetic condition considering the age. It has numerous small scratches and dents, and a few small rust spots on the rear quarters (pretty standard for older hondas). The wheels have some peeling clearcoat. The interior is in average condition with no major flaws or odors, but far from perfect. * The car will need two tires to pass inspection. It will also eventually need rear brakes and front wheel bearings. There is a loose exhaust hanger which can resonate when idling. There is a check engine light on, but the car runs and drives great. I put a pocket scanner on it, and pulled an oxygen sensor code, but I am not a professional mechanic, and this should not be considered an exhaustive diagnosis. *The car has a clean title to my knowledge, but is being sold with bill of sale and previous registration only. Rhode Island does not issue titles for cars more than 10 years old. This should not impact your ability to register the car, but you should be aware of it. The terms of sale are as follows: *$250 deposit due by paypal within 24 hours of auction end. * Balance due by cash or paypal and vehicle must be removed from my property within 72 hours of end of auction unless prior arrangements have been made, or deposit will be forefeited and car will be relisted. * If paid IN FULL I will store the vehicle for up to 2 weeks, but I assume NO LIABILITY for the car during this time. * If paid IN FULL, I will deliver the car for a fee (see terms) within 100 miles of zip 02874, or meet a buyer at local train or airport.
