Up for auction is a 1997 Buick LeSabre Limited Edition. This has been a very solid car the last 6 years I have driven it but due to my misfortune the engine recently overheated and the engine locked up. As it turns out my bad luck will be someone else's gain. I made the decision to purchase a different car and I am offering this one up for auction at no reserve. The winning bidder will have to obtain a salvage yard 3800 series II engine and install it to get this car back on the road. If you are a back yard mechanic and have the means and ability to do this, then this car may be the best buy on Ebay. It is possible the current engine could be rebuilt but a seasoned mechanic would know the best route to take. This car has vey nice cloth interior as you can see in the pictures but the headliner will need to be replaced to make the overall interior to show well. All 4 power windows work just great and the sound system with factory cassette player still sound very nice. This car is simply too nice to send to the salvage yard and would serve as a nice commuter vehicle once it is repaired. It has a current Virginia inspection sticker and the tires have more than half their tread life still remaining. The car has never been in an accident nor sustained any body damage The car is available to be inspected in Hampton, Virginia but the winning bidder will have to have the car towed away at auction's end. If you currently own a late 90's model LeSabre now this car would serve as a nice donor car for parts but I would hate to see this happen since the car overall is still in pretty decent shape, Thanks for looking and good luck! The factory original Buick wheel covers were not with the car when I purchased it but are available on Ebay from other sellers.
