Here are a pair of 1986 TRX250R's for the serious Honda TRX250R OEM Collector. These bikes are in near mint condition. These were purchased by two females in 1986 at long beach honda. They were ridden in the sand by females only, never in the dirt. When they were in the sand, they used paddles, so the rear wheels and tires are beautiful(sand usually dulls them a lot). These bikes are still on the original chains and sprockets, just to give you an idea of the super low hours. I looked each bike over very thoroughly, and made a list of any defects or imperfections. Let's start with the one with the grab bar, not the six pack rack. Bike #1- 1. Front bumper aluminum plate has some very light scratches & dings. 2. Left front tire has one plug in it, still holds air. 3. Left front fender was replaced at some point with a honda OEM replacement, so it is a little shinier than the rest of the fenders. The decal is not OEM, because it is not available. 4. The rest of the fenders have the typical spiderwebbing that comes with pure age. 5. The black plastic headlight shroud has a small crack. 6. The air filter in the bike was OEM, but falling apart due to pure age. I will include this filter, but it is no good. You will need to buy an air filter. 7. Fuel and vent lines on carburetor are brand new. 8. Very minor scratches on the rims. They are in extremely good shape, and so are the tires which have about 95% tread, and they all hold air. 9. Rubber bump stop on rear shock is falling apart due to pure age. Needs to be replaced. 10. Toolbox has one small hole drilled in it, where a license plate was attached. 11. Front master cylinder sight glass is spiderwebbed from age. Bike #2, with six pack rack- 1. Front bumper aluminum plate has some very light scratches & dings. 2. Headlight black shroud has a small crack. 3. Left front wheel has a small ding. 4. Right rear wheel has a very small dent on the outer lip. Almost cannot be seen but I am pointing it out. 5. Air filter was falling apart from age. It will be included, but is no good. You will need to buy an air filter. 6. Rear shock rubber bump stop falling apart due to pure age, needs replaced. 7. Small hole drilled in toolbox lid to attach a license plate. 8. Front master cylinder sight glass spiderwebbed from age. 9. The plastics are very lightly spiderwebbed from age, very common for these. 10. Wheels and tires are near mint, and about 95% tread, they all hold air. Both TRX's start and run just like they day they were made. They both shift through all six gears smoothly, the clutches perform perfectly, all brakes and lights work. Both TRX's have a clear arizona title in my name, notarized and ready for transfer. Also included are both owner's manuals, tools in the tool boxes, and a repair manual. These bikes are a blast from the past, I don't expect to see two 86's in this shape ever again. I have been dealing with 250R's for years, i've never seen two cleaner, more original bikes. I do have the grab bar for the other bike, just needs some paint. Shipping: I will ship these bikes worldwide. I will be charging $300 per bike to crate them. That includes all the lumber and my time to do it. Shipping will be up to you and extra on top of the crating charge. I will help you any way I can. I have used uship.com successfully in the U.S.A. If using uship.com, they will probably not need to be crated. Outside of the U.S., i'm not sure how much the shipping would cost or what method we would use. The bikes will be paid for in full before I build the crates and ship them out. I will not accept paypal for this transaction.
