The Black Diamond Luxury Group was first offered in March 1976 and only lasted for the 1976 model year. There is an estimated 1900 of these models made and the majority of them have leather interiors. This one has the more rare Majestic Velour interior. It has the optional Automatic headlamps and dimmer, Premium Side Moldings and Wide Chrome moldings across the Landau roof. It has 4 wheel disc brakes, dual exhaust and posi-traction rear axle. The Body Tag is decoded as: Body: 65A Mark IV Color: 1LUA Diamond Fire Black Trim: QA Black Majestic Velour with Black Leather Strapping Trans: C6 Automatic Axle: K 2.75 Locking DSO: Seattle WA. The Good: Rare Rust Free Desert car that still has it's original paint Has 4 professionally refinished factory Lincoln chrome wheels with new tires (Luxor Wire wheels are not included in the sale) Clean and nice interior, with exception of a small split in the middle of the dash pad. Has factory dual exhaust, optional power vent windows, auto lamp/dimmer, Positraction rear axle and 4 wheel disc brakes Engine starts right away and runs strong, transmission shifts properly and brakes work. The Bad: Paint is fading from being in the desert Cayman half vinyl top has a split 1 inch by 3 inches (we know where to get a new replacement top) Driver Window and a few dash bulbs and clock need repaired.
