Cville Classic Cars Inc. has just acquired one of the premier British sports cars, a 1963 Austin Healey 3000 Mk II convertible. These cars are considered highly collectible. The build date was November 1963 and is the 35th from the end of the line of the BJ7 line. Car/chassis number is H-BJ7-L/25281, engine number 29F-RU-H/6104, body number 70120. This is a numbers matching car. The car comes with a certified copy of a factory record issued by the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust. The car was originally British racing green with black interior and a black top. However, approximately 6 years ago the car went through a complete restoration and the color scheme was changed to the very popular Healey blue with all matching interior and tops and cover. Everything on the car is correct down to all the right hardware. The car runs very well, powered by the Austin 2912 cc in-line 6 cylinder with twin S.U. type HS6 carbs (series BJ7). The car has the distinctive Healey exhaust sound, overdrive snaps in and out very nicely. Chrome wire wheels are original. Tires are Michelin X radials. Car comes equipped with the tonneau cover with bars, boot cover, original jack, supplemental tool kit, original Thor hammer and original driver’s handbook.
