NO RESERVE 1970 Porsche 911E Non Sunroof Coupe made in the Karmann factory. The 911 has been made to look like an 80's Turbo and painted silver sometime in the past. The bodywork is all steel. The Turbo Whale Tail looks to be an original Porsche wing. The paint has some blemishes. The original color was 1313-L, Bahia Red. The interior has been upgraded as well. 80's style seats have been installed. A custom center console has been installed. The door panels have been updated as well. The engine is a 2.2E. When purchased, I was told it is the original motor and trans. I do not have a Porsche CoA to prove this. The car runs & drives, but the carburetors need tuning or rebuilt. The engine will smoke on start up, and does leak some oil, typical of old 911s. Car shows 25k miles, not sure if that is 25k, 125k or 225k. Clean & clear CA title in my name. On Dec-01-13 at 16:06:31 PST, seller added the following information: I was asked for some more pictures, there is a little rust on the car. There is some on the bottom of the doors (shows bubbles in the paint). There is some in the front around the battery boxes. There is also some on the inside on the floor. There is a leak, so when it rains the carpet would get wet and it caused some rust. It rained recently and the carpets were wet so I looked under them and saw the rust. I bought the car over the summer and didn't notice this till now. My original pictures were taken before it rained a few weeks ago.
