This is an original 1958 Corvette project car last registered in 1972. The car is equipped with a Small Block Chevy and a period correct manual transmission with most of the original polished trim pieces intact. The body is in need of a passenger side quarter panel and fiberglass repair in several other places. The chassis does have some rot in the rear. The car is equipped with full interior, in poor condition, which includes the original steering wheel, seats, dash and gauges. I also have the last valid NY State registration papers. According to the VIN tag, this car was manufactured in St. Louis and is car number 7,292 of 9,168 built in 1958. NOTE: Also included in this auction is a separate rolling chassis from another 1958 Corvette with period correct engine and manual transmission. This chassis also has some rot in the rear.
