This is a car that currently bleongs to one of our local friends and Porsche enthusiast who has decided to mix up his garage a bit and has this car consigned with us for sale. So for the past couple of years now, we have had the pleasure of being the mechanical curators, if you will, of this great little car. Rather than the 911's flat six motor, the heart of the 912 is a 1582 cc flat four engine. Aside from the engine, however, the 912 and 911 were virtually identicle. The two models sharde the same body, brakes, suspension, and interior with the only difference being that the 912 lacked the wood trim. While 912s remain inexpensive by vintage Porsche standards, 912 values have been consistently on the rise over the past few years. Although Porsche produced approximately 29,000 912s betweem 1966 and 1969, few good examples remain and this car is an excellent example of a daily driver and weekend show car.
