This is a 1982 AMC Eagle SX/4. It was saved from the scrapper from a field where it had sat for 12 years. Very highly optioned car with AC, PS, PB, AM-FM-CB (yes,factory CB still with AMC handset), sunroof, 258 and 5-speed, rear window defrost.. It is a Zeibart rust coated car, so it has no rust at all. Interior is in excellent shape for its age. Exterior could use some help, but no large dents, only minor dings. I do have the grill. Comes with original jack. Very complete car. It does fire up and run very smoothly, and will move under its own power. It does have a clutch problem (believe it is the slave cylinder, hope to replace it and get the car driving before end of auction) and some brake issues (unsure what, will post updates). I had hoped to turn this car into a cool daily driver, and it has the potential. But I ran into some issues with my other cars and I want this to go to a good home, instead of sitting for years again before I can get to it. The Good. Rust free. Fairly rare in this configuration. 258 and 5-speed. Good interior. Great body. The Bad. Paint is shot. Needs new tires (hold air, but old and different sizes). Needs a windshield, rest of glass is good. Brakes. Clutch. The Unsure. It has the selectable 4WD, I have not tested the system. Gauges, gas gauge for sure does not work, the rest??
