Vehicle Detail

You're bidding on a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Classic with the 4.0L inline 6 cylinder and an automatic transmission. The Jeep runs and drives good. The a/c blows cold and the heat works. The engine was rebuilt about 60k miles ago by a professional shop and the block is tagged and stamped to show it was rebuilt. The interior could use a detailing, but it's not too bad as you can see in the pictures. The seats are decent with only a couple of torn spots on the side of the driver's seat. The sun visors are missing. The plastic trim on the inside is cracked in a few spots, but nothing too terrible. Overall it's a good vehicle that get's you from A to B with pretty good gas mileage, especially for a SUV. The paint is decent. Honestly, the pictures look really great, but the paint has a few blemishes so I took close up pictures of that. The only issues with the Jeep are minor. A shop here in town said the check engine light is from the crankshaft/camshaft position sensor. This can be fixed for about $120, but we don't have the extra money due to my wife losing her income. The sensor also makes the Jeep stall sometimes, but it's rare and all you have to do is recrank it. It also will cause a minor skip sometimes. It doesn't really bother me, but I wanted to make sure you knew about it. The other thing is the cruise control doesn't always work for some reason. The shop said it was a vacuum hose or fuse or something, but I don't use it so I've never had it repaired. Lastly, the fuel gauge seems to be off sometimes. Not sure why and maybe it's just me, but just wanted to let you know. Overall the Jeep is a great and dependable vehicle. It just has its quirks, so that's why I wanted to list everything I know of and start the auction at $1.00 with no reserve. I believe it would be an awesome fit for someone who wants to put a little money into it or knows how to fix the couple of things listed above. To be clear, it drives and runs - it just needs a few things fixed. Please understand - you are buying a used vehicle. I've done my best to be as transparent as possible with my listing, so know that before bidding as it is a binding contract. Thanks and good luck! Video of the Jeep
