Vehicle Detail
Hello, you are bidding on a 1970 Nova coupe with 107k original miles. It still has the original 307 2bbl engine with TH350 transmission and ten bolt rear end. Condition is as follows: Drivetrain: Engine runs great, starts everytime, doesnt smoke. Transmission works and shifts great. Brakes work great and were overhauled a few years ago, but still have less than 5k miles on them. Overhaul included all new front wheel cylinders, hardware, new drums, and new master cylinder. Tires aren`t new but still in great shape with lots of tread. New dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. Battery, cables, alternator and plug wires are new. All electrical including brake and taillamps, side markers, turn signals, headlights/high and low beam, horn and dash/dome lights all work great, so do the wipers. Heater does not work. Overall a good dependable driver. Interior: , Driver condition. Tired but complete and mostly original as you can see. Steering column is tight and blinkers are in good working order. All door and window regulators, and windwings work great. Headliner will need replaced Body: Very solid California car. Looks to have one single repaint over original paint. Paint is tired and will eventually need a repaint, but is all one color and as you can see, looks decent for now. Floors and trunk are excellent as you can see, and framerails are excellent. The car was undercoated from the factory. This car has never been in any kind of a serious accident that I can see. The original vinyl top is tired and will need replaced at some point but does not have any crusty rust spots creeping underneath the vinyl. The vinyl top could be removed and painted body color if you chose to go that route. Body overall is very solid. The car at some point before the repaint, had rear lower quarterpanel patches welded on. Repair was low and can`t be seen from inside the trunk. Other than that, the car looks to have all born with GM body panels. All glass and most of the chrome and trim are in good shape as you can see. Upon eventual repaint, this car will need minor bodywork. Overall: This is a good solid west coast driver to build on and still enjoy on the weekends POTENTIAL BUYERS: I have described this car as honestly and as accurately as possible, and to the best of my knowledge, but please, if you need additional pics, or have any questions, ask BEFORE bidding as this sale is final with no warranty and I want you to be happy with the car.
