Vehicle Detail
Re-listed due to non-paying bidder Thanks for looking! Get ready to get your Dr. Grant on with this 1995 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler. I've owned this car for the last 3 years, and have had a ton of fun, but it's time to get something a little better on gas. It is a 4-cylinder, 5-speed with 118,xxx miles. This car started out as a white Jeep, and was repainted about a year after I bought it. The paint job is far from perfect, but still looks really good. That being said, if you're looking for a show car paint job, this isn't it. There is some overspray---mostly from touch ups after wheeling. The rear passenger side of the frame was pretty rusty, so I cut out the rust and welded new frame in. The front driver's frame had some rust, but was fixed again by welding in some flat steel. Lots of parts have been replaced, including: - 3" suspension lift w/ drop pitman arm (2010) - Alternator (2010) - Battery (August, 2010) - Fuel Pump (2010) - Crankshaft Position Sensor (2010) - Downpipe, catalytic converter, muffler, tailpipe, O2 sensor (2011) - Brake Master Cylinder (2013) - Brake Proportioning Valve - Adjustable SSBC prop block (2013) - Front brake rotors and pads - Drilled/slotted Summit rotors/ceramic pads (2013) - Radiator (2013) - Front axle Posi-Lock 4WD engagement system (2013) - Kenwood Head Unit (2013) Also added are green LED dash lights, 6000lb winch with wired remote, round fog lights, and class 3 tow hitch made by hidden hitch. Also, the entire frame has been coated with an underbody coating by Ziebart (sp?) by the previous owner, and re-coated with another underbody coating by SEM by myself (2013). The car does still need some work. I tried to list everything that I could find wrong with the car to give the new owner an accurate description of the vehicle. There are small rust spots, some overspray, small holes in floorboards on both driver/passenger sides, and a small hole/crack in dashboard. It was also starting to grind going into 2nd gear under hard acceleration, and once in a while in reverse. After I changed the transmission fluid with Pennzoil synchromesh, it went away. Also, the brakes squeak in the morning going in reverse, but stop once the brakes are warm. This will probably go away once the new front pads are broken in. Finally, the tires have about 20% life left, and will probably have to be replaced soon. Overall, pretty good shape for a 18 year old car, but does need some work to be in excellent condition. All fluids have been changed in the vehicle except for the clutch fluid (transmission, brake, front and rear differential, transfer case, oil, and coolant). I'm sure I'm leaving out some modifications, but you get the idea. It's a great running Jeep that I have put alot of time and effort into maintaining. The miles will go up a bit, as I drive it to work everyday. If you have any questions, or would like to see any additional pictures, send me a message and I will post the answer for everyone to see. Comes with a matching black soft top with black windows. Its a little beat up, but still keeps all the rain out and keeps it warm in the winter. Here's a quick walkthrough of the Jeep: Thanks for looking! *If you're coming from far away, I can pick you up at the airport (BWI). Bring a set of tags and drive it home! Or, once the vehicle is paid for, I can notarize/FedEx overnight the title to you so you can apply for tags and bring them with you.* On Oct-06-13 at 17:05:16 PDT, seller added the following information: A lot of people have asked me if the paint job is plasti-dip. The answer is no. The paint is two stage urethane/clear-coat with primer. The car was sanded, primed, sprayed with base-coat, sprayed with clear-coat, wet sanded, buffed, then finally waxed. This paint will never peel off like plasti-dip will.
