Vehicle Detail

2004 Toyota Landcruiser, 59k miles, black, tan leather, loaded. I purchased this car with about 4000 miles on it from the owner of a Toyota dealer in Evanston, IL. I drove it to /from work for about a year and then moved it to my house in Santa Fe. Much of the time, it has sat in storage as I live in Europe most of the year and now need to move to London pretty much full time – and thus am selling this fantastic car. Some people have Porsches as their dream car – mine has been and will always be Landcuisers. This is my second one and it has been well-cared for. The car has less than 59,000 miles on it and runs like a dream; the V8 is as smooth as can be. It has been maintained regularly according to Toyota’s specifications. Recent records should all be available at Beaver Toyota, and I have most in my car file for the new owner. It is loaded with options – navigation/touchstreen, heated seats, rear stereo controls, power mirrors, power tilt steering wheel, multi-disc CD/DVD player (although I have never used the DVD player), bluetooth phone connectivity, and more. I also added two things: an aftermarket system that allows you to play music from your iPhone through the car stereo system, and leather wrapping on the steering wheel. It also comes with full front and rear all-weather floor and cargo area mats, which have always been in use. The car has never been in an accident or subject to anything other than minor damage (cracked front light, a few inevitable nick/dings here and there). It had an $800 detail job last year, including full buffing of the paint, etc. – although the end result did not seem worth $800. It has never been used for serious four-wheeling, although like most cars in Santa Fe, has been on its share of dirt roads. Given that it is a used car, it is not perfect. The plastic knob on part of the driver’s seat power adjustments has been lost, although you can still control seat just fine (and could easily order a replacement part). Some stains on the carpet, wear on the leather seats as well – nothing unusual for a car this age (in fact, given low miles, better than most). Right front turn signal light is cracked. I am sure there are other things as well that I don’t notice, but all-in-all, it is in very good shape.
