1965 VW Beetle paid 3000 on EBay 3 Months ago for my daughters first car and my wife said there is NO Way your are putting a 16 year old in that car LOL...... So here we are I have this nice original VW with its original patina. It was repainted and refurbished in 1989 by original owners and a new long block engine. They used it for 5 years or so and than it sat in garage. I put new gas and did minor tuneup and It runs and drives good. Motor is very solid original 40 HP and still has its 6 Volt system. Engine Suspension and Transmission Work as they should. The car is a survivor and in pretty decent shape doesn't appear to of ever been wrecked it seems solid except some rust in the rear floor board I did not detect any other rust. It has its original dash uncut with original interior and nice rare rear pop out windows. Car could be used as a daily driver as is but I would have car and brakes inspected just to be safe as I stated I bought car on EBay and haven't done much to it except get it running. Or car could be restored to its original glory and used as a show car. Again car is in nice original shape for a 1965 but would require restoration if you wanted a show car. Car runs and drives good for a 1965 and has its issues as any 48 year old car may have. My Loss is your gain I am listing for lower than I paid for it because I just can spare the driveway room. I have clean California Title that is currently registered in my name although I just received letter if I don't insure car they are going to cancel tags so it is time to sell.
