Vehicle Detail

Chevrolet: 1988 Camaro IROC-Z / Z28 T-Tops / Tuned Port Injection / 5.0 V8 - 305 All original - Unmolested car - With original paint and no rust!! About this car You are looking at an all original unmolested 1988 Camaro IROC-Z/Z28. This Car starts right up with no issues and runs great. Mechanically it is solid and drives nice without any problems. The engine is a solid 305 V8 5.0 Liter with Multi-port TPI injection. The engine starts right up and runs smooth with no knocks or tapping. The transmission also works flawlessly. I can not stress how strong the engine sounds. I just changed the oil and oil filter. I had a mechanic look at the car and they also confirmed that it's the original engine which has actual 112,136 miles. This cars odometer is correct and matches the engine. No rebuilds or swaps with the engine. This is all original and everything works as it should. This is a clean all-original car with a clean title in hand. The best thing about the car is that is was not messed with. No engine swaps, or cam alteration, things of that nature. This is a 25 year old classic muscle car - which it's value will continue to increase. That being said it does need some TLC and that mainly being a paint job. You can register this car as a classic for no more that $200.00 a year (that's it) due to the fact that it is 25 years old. It can be registered as a Historic car which is the cool part. Can this car be driven as a daily driver? Yes, it could. The one thing that I would say is that to be safe, you would want to put on a set of tires and maybe give it a tune-up. Other that that you are on your way! The previous owner before me had this car for 15 years. He was a Camaro nut and had 6 of these generation 3 Camaro's. He was an older gentleman who was forced to sell all of his cars for medical issues. The reason that I am selling this car is an odd one: "Murphys law" - So for years I have been looking for a super clean 1969 Buick GS and could not come across one in good shape....wouldn't you guess 2 weeks after I bought this car a white 1969 Buick Skylark "GS" shows up. Long story short - I bought the car that I have been looking for and do not have enough garage space. The only reason that I am selling this car is due to lack of space. If I had the space I would keep it and get it painted. It would make a fun car to drive around on the weekends. Exterior I just replaced the windshield. The old windshield had a 3 inch crack that could not be repaired - so I had a new one put in. Every single exterior and interior light works. Every blinker, brake light, and even the high-beams work. This car also has a newer Magnaflow exhaust. The trunk struts/shocks were also replaced - being that the old ones did not hold the trunk open. This cars exterior does have scratches and a very few small dents being that it's 25 years old. It also has some spots where the paint faded off and some surface rust shows (see trunk lid pictures and roof top to see what I am talking about). Let's be real here - it needs a nice paint job. Other than that for the exterior - it's all there. No broken or missing spoliers or parts. All of the exterior emblems are present, but the one on the rear bumper (left side) is broken. It's the multi port injection emblem that will need to be replaced. The driver's side lower door hinge also needs to be changed. It is sagging a bit causing the door to rub slightly on the front fender - or maybe it just need to be adjusted. Interior Cosmetically the interior is in very good condition. The seats are in very good condition with no rips or tears. The rear seats could use some cleaning. The dash lights all work, and all gauges work also. The Power windows, the trunk hatch pop button, light switches, all work. No burnt bulbs anywhere. The floor carpet has no tears or wear marks, but could use a cleaning. It also has new floor mats. The horn button does not work (could be a fuse?) or wire. The t-tops also have new weather seals. The headliner is not perfect and in poor condition. The headliner should be replaced to make the interior perfect. All of the 4 speakers work. The cars radio works when you connect an ipod or iphone, but unfortunately the FM antenna is broken and you can not get FM reception. It will need a new antenna. The rear window also has tint on it - which should be removed in my opinion. It's sort of peeling on the edges. The trunk section is all intact and the trunk light button even works. It also does have a spare tire and jack under the right side panel cover. The left trunk area has a storage compartment - which looks new. It looks like it's stainless steel and super clean. The lock and key also work for the compartment lock. Vin 1G1FP21F3JL128021 Shipping Shipping and shipping arrangement are totally the buyers responsibility. I am not responsible for paying or arranging vehicle pick-up. I will work with you to coordinate the pick-up of the vehicle - but that's about all I will do. I can even suggest local shipping companies - being that I just used one. I do expect the vehicle to be picked-up in a timely manor. Local buyers Locals are welcome to come check out the car. The car can also be picked-up anyway of the week. I would just need proper notice. Other things to know Bidders with "0" feedback must contact me first. Any bids from ebay members with a "0" feedback will be canceled with-out notification. This car is being sold as-is with no exchanges or refunds implied. You are agreeing to the fact that you are buying a used car (in this case a 25 year old vehicle) that requires some TLC. I am not stating that the car is perfect. Please read entire listing details for a better understanding of the vehicles condition. You can also contact me with any questions that you may have. I will be more that happy to assist you with your questions. I am an honest individual with great feedback on ebay. My feedback speaks for itself. Title for car is clear and actual. Mileage even states: Actual Title is on hand. Payment I do require an immediate deposit of $200.00 at auction end and full payment is due with-in 3 days of auction end. I can accept PayPal as a form of payment especially for the deposit, but would prefer the balance of the sale to be directly wired to my bank account (which I will provide at that time). I do expect good communication on the pick-up of the car. I do expect the car to be picked up in a timely manner. On Oct-06-13 at 18:19:24 PDT, seller added the following information:
