This is original 1955 Simplex Motorcycle. This bike looks to be untouched. IF YOU WANT ONE THE WAY IT CAME FROM FACTORY IT DOES NOT GET ANY CLOSER THAN THIS. There is no speedometer the mileage is a guess. It has all the original paint, parts and decals. It looks complete and needs normal tune up and service to get running again. They used a 6 volt battery for it in the past. This is a very rare bike to find in this condition. Everyone is always looking for original bikes with original parts. When I try to crank the bike it wants to start. I do not think you will ever find another in this original condition anywhere. Simplex is the only motorcycle ever made in deep South in New Orleans, La. A local Floridian toy collector went to Indiana to purchase a toy collection. Upon getting there and purchasing the collection he was told about the guy that had 6 buildings full of good items. When he arrived he ended up buying 6 motorcycles and rented a trailer and brought them back to Florida. Thus upon his arrival you can see which one I grabbed. (The best of the bunch.) Another option is I will be driving in late October to Illinois going Up I-75 to I-24 to I-57 and can meet along the interstate. YOU will have to meet me at the interstate. I will also be making stops in Nashville, Tn., Clarksville, Tn., Paducah, Ky. & Du Quoin, Il. Could be possible to meet at one of the locations.
