The paint is in really good shape considering the age could use some brush touch up also can have all the front repainted after sale for $ 250.00 from hood down to spoiler. There are a few very small detail items that could use some attention like the console wood is broke in a few places. NOW FOR THE ENGINE STORY, WAS TOLD BY SELLER TO ME AND CONFIRMED BY FREINDS THAT A REAL HIGH DOLLAR 503 C.I. FUEL INJECTED ENGINE WAS PULLED AND PUT IN TO A 56 CHEVY SHOW CAR . THEY THEN BOUGHT THIS ADVERTIZED 454 ENGINE FROM AN ESTATE TRUCK THAT SUPPOSED TO HAVE HAD AN REBUILD BY THE FATHER BEFORE HIS PASSING , AS TO MILES ON THE ENGINE NOTHING CAN BE CONFIRMED HOWEVER 3 VERY EXPERIENCED HOT RODDER PULLED THE STORIED ENGINE PAN AND VALVE COVER AND REPORT T ME THE SEEMED LIKE A GREAT ENGINE AND STORY WAS MOE THAN LIKEY CORRECT. I HAVE DROVE THIS TRUCK FOR THE LAST WEEK JUST TO MAKE SURE I WHAT I WAS SELLING AND I BELIEVE THIS TO BE AN VERY STRONG NICE TRUCK.
