Here we have on ebay is a 1997 Jeep Wrangler "Sport" 4.0L 6Cylinder 5 speed Well we all know its a JEEP Lasts forever although will have its quirks So im not going to sit here and lie and put lipstick on a pig, I tell it how it is, and ask that you ask questions. So here is the deal with this Jeep: I have the Massachusetts Title and on the front of the title states 999,999 which is common if the "true mileage of the vehicle is unknown" or if the seller accidentally "checks" the box on the back of the title for odometer discrepancy, which apparently this is the case for this wrangler. So although the odometer reads 56,870 and counting (because im driving this jeep all over) I as a Dealer will be selling this jeep as true mileage unknown), although i did a carfax on it and seems that this could actually be the real mileage. The story was it was a weekend Jeep. Now for the Jeep itself!!! Motor and transmission perform perfectly as well as clutch. There is a "check engine" light on due to the previous owner removing the Catalytic Converter and straight piping the exhaust. In mass this does not matter for inspection because the vehicle is a 97. Want to mention an obvious rip in the drivers seat. Steering wheel is a little cock eyed when your driving down the road. I think it needs an alignment. All lights appear to work as well as horn. Radio turns on and plays. Jeep has a very slow Power steering leak. A couple rust spots on the frame which is typical. I just put a newer soft top on it.
