Up for bid is a 2nd owner 1979 Ford F-350 Ranger XLT crew cab. It has been owned by the 2nd owner since 1987 and has been used as a ranch truck for the last 15 years. It has been in California all of its life and has one small spot of rust on the roof but other than that it is completely rust free and is solid. The truck has a strong 460 engine that was rebuilt a few years ago and a C6 automatic transmission that shifts fine through all the gears. It has a Dana 70 rear axle with 4.10 gears. It runs and drives good but it does have an exhaust leak. The brakes need to be bled before it is driven on the road and the tires should be replaced as they have some dry rot. The interior is in good condition. The front seat does have some rips and has a seat cover over it. For the most part the door panels are in good shape. All the gauges work. A/C is all there and needs to be recharged. The truck does have a tilt column but it is worn out and the column needs to be rebuilt. The passenger visor also has the lighted vanity mirror. The truck has been repainted once and does have a few flaws. There is a dent on the rear passenger door and also some small dings on the roof and other minor details. It has a 9' flat bed with a gooseneck hitch. I also have a very nice styleside 8' bed I was going to swap on which I will sell if the buyer wants it. This truck has a lot of potential. I was going to keep it and convert it to 4x4 but plans have changed. Clear title in hand and is currently registered non-op.
