I have owned this car for a little over a year and put almost 19k miles on her so far. I originally got this car for commuting to work, so all the mileage I did was either highway or back roads where I lived in NJ. However I have recently moved to Salt Lake City, UT (I had the car shipped out here) and no longer need a second car for commuting. Upgrades included in the very desirable ZHP include (as quoted from Wikipedia): M badges on each of its Style 135 wheels, with additional M badging on the multi-function steering wheel and atop the 6-speed short throw weighted shifter. It received the "M-Tech II" bodykit standard, 18-inch staggered Style 135 wheels, high gloss anthracite window trim, and the coupe received clear turn signals (headlights, side-markers, and tail-lights) instead of the amber turn signals found on the standard 330Ci.[20] The interior had also been modified with half cloth-half alcantara sports seats (optional upgrade to leather), an alcantara-wrapped sports steering wheel (switched to perforated leather in mid-2005), a shorter M-badged shift knob, anthracite colored cloth headliner, and aluminum "cubed" faux-carbon fiber interior trim (available in silver or black). The instrument gauge cluster was also modified with red needles and polished metal trim rings.[21] In the performance department, the ZHP was equipped with the more aggressive DME tune to increase power from 225 hp (168 kW) to 235 hp (175 kW).[20] The engine redline raised from 6,500 rpm to 6,800 rpm to take advantage of the new power band and higher power output at higher RPMs.[21] As a result of the higher redline, the nut that fastens the oil pump's sprocket came with threadlocker pre-applied from the factory to keep the nut from falling off.[22] The car also received a shorter final drive ratio which allows for faster acceleration; 3.07 vs. 2.93 for manuals and 3.64 vs. 3.38 for the automatic.[21] Car and Driver magazine track-tested the car, which returned a 0-60 mph time of 5.6 seconds and passed through the 1/4 mile in 14.3 seconds.[21] In 2003 the ZHP was the only non-M 3-series to feature a 6-speed manual transmission (the Steptronic automatic transmission was not available the first model year (2003), but it was offered from 2004 to 2006). Suspension was modified over the standard suspension with firmer springs and dampers, larger anti-roll bars, stronger front control arm ball joints, a lower ride height, and slightly more negative camber.[21] The Style 135M wheels also came equipped with the much stickier compound, Michelin Pilot Sport tires, in a staggered configuration with 225/40-18 tires in the front and 255/35-18 tires in the back. I am the 3rd owner of this car after purchasing it from a high-end used car dealership in Pennsylvania after searching for a ZHP for several months. Since purchasing I have performed all maintenance myself including: -Oil changes at 7500 miles with Castrol Synthetic -Air filter and cabin filters recently changed -Transmission and Differential fluids changed with Red Line Synthetic -Thermostat and gasket replaced -Differential seals replaced -Valve cover gasket replaced -DISA valve rebuilt -Engine belts replaced -Intake boots replaced I also recently had the inspection I service performed by a local BMW specialist (Alex's Autohaus, Midvale, UT) and can provide that report as well. The car is stock except for an Intravee unit that I have added a Sirius tuner to. Other options include: -Performance Package -Adaptive Xenon headlights -Navigation system (no disc included, I never got one with the car) -Harmon Kardon sound system A few issues with the car that I would like to make everyone aware of in the interest of full disclosure: -Normal dings and scuffs to be expected on a 9 year old car (however it is better than the majority of cars this age) -Rear tires are nearing replacement, front tires are new, but do not match -Cracked drivers side mirror (damage occurred from a rock during shipping) -There is an accident reported to carfax, the only evidence I see is that the front bumper has been repainted -Wear on alcantara steering wheel and shifter -There is a key mark across the trunk that the previous owner tried to use touch up paint on A $2000 deposit will be required within 48 hours of agreeing upon a price (paypal, cash, or certified funds will be acceptable for this). Payment in full will be required within 7 days of end of sale via cash or certified funds. I am willing to work out details regarding pick-up/delivery with a 3rd party or will consider delivering myself at the buyers expense if it is practical. If you wish a 3rd party inspection to be performed I can bring the car to either a BMW dealer or to a local BMW specialist for the inspection to be performed at the buyer's expense.
