We are auctioning one Penton - 1974 1/2 - 400 Mint A lot of things were the same as 1974 except the following. The new 400cc Mint model is introduced with a new KTM motor on it. The PENTON Mint has a gas tank painted and air box painted in white and has yellow number plates. Although the mint was called a 400cc bike, it was actually was 352cc motor with a Spanish Motoplat ignition, a 6 speed transmission, cast aluminum alloy cyclinder and head and has a larger 38mm Bing carb. Very rare. This would be an excellent candidate for a restoration project. Motor kicks over.
